Fiyero — Harry Styles
Harry Styles is well on his way to becoming a movie star (did you catch his cameo in the Eternals mid-credits scene?). Harry would be able to bring the perfect blend of arrogant swagger, boyish charm, and happy-go-lucky brainlessness to the role of Fiyero. Plus, he would look great in those white tights.
The Wizard — Joel Grey
Joel Grey originated the role of the Wizard in Wicked on Broadway and I think it would be a nice touch for the movie to carry over a legacy cast member from the original production —after all, I am a sentimental man. Let’s not forget that Joel Grey won an Academy Award for his performance as the Master of Ceremonies in Cabaret, a role he also originated on Broadway. He has the chops, he has the history, and he has the authority — pay some respect to this man!
Madame Morrible — Liza Minnelli
