It really is crazy how we can police our own bodies to portray ourselves a certain way. Whenever I catch myself modifying my posture or voice when I’m talking to a stranger it makes me feel like shit – I mostly don’t even realise I’m doing it, maybe it’s a built-in survival mechanism that started in high-school? Something for me to think about – thanks for the great read.
